American Gods is like a bag of chips that you taste and think it’s ok and nothing special, then you eat another one and another one. You keep eating the chips and with each chip the flavor is building steadily and you realize that you LOVE these chips!
This is what I felt like when reading American Hods, the pace of the book never sped up or slowed down, it was steady and with each chapter the world slowly grew and became vibrant and alive. I really enjoyed his unique story telling and such a fun and interesting premise.
