I keep saying whenever this book is brought up… it’s an arctic monkeys song but as a romance novel. - emotional lustly hopelessly romantic who has zero hope.

Does that make sense??

Rue is an emotionally distant woman navigating having feelings for the first time in her life… for a man she’s supposed to hate but can’t stop kissing.

Eli is a direct hard hitting man who finds out love at first sight totally exists but much like the rest of his life it’s with a woman who wishes he would pound sand… but also will not stop going to pound town with him.

I adore Ali Hazelwood more and more with each new book she puts out
