This book is a beautiful and melancholy reflection on love and the psychology of attachments. It felt viscerally real and emotionally touching, with witty commentary on society, gender roles, and young love. It was sad and wonderful and slowly destructive. The shifting power dynamics (emotionally and sexually) were incredibly fluid and realistic-- I absolutely loved Normal People!
