I have been eagerly waiting for this book ever since I finished reading "I Accidentally Summoned A Demon Boyfriend" by Jessica Cage. Just like that story, I absolutely adore her latest book, "I Accidentally Hooked Up With A Vampire!" The banter, world-building, and steamy love scenes were everything I hoped for! This story kept me glued to my seat and fully engaged. Domino has truly won my heart; he and Whitney have such great chemistry. I found the story highly entertaining and couldn't help but laugh out loud. Whitney's friends are hilarious and added an extra intriguing layer to the story; including Maverick, Whitney's cat.
It was also wonderful to see Rayna, Metice, and Likosa again! Honestly, I really want a story about Likosa because I know she has an intriguing tale to tell. I loved how the first book tied in with this one. Although they can be read as standalones, I highly recommend reading the first book in the series.
I enjoy reading fantasy romance stories featuring Black main characters written by Black authors because I appreciate the representation, and I find the characters relatable—even if they have otherworldly boyfriends, Lol (which I'm here for). Jessica Cage has spoiled me with this series, and I hope she continues it; I need and want more!
