The Murder Inn by Candice Fox, James Patterson
4.0
If I could give this 4.5 stars I would! It was such a quick and immersing read that had me turning the pages at lightning speed! As this is my first James Patterson book I was pleasantly surprised.
The way this story unfolds through the perspectives of almost everyone who lives at the Inn adds much more depth and intrigue to the plot and outcome! I loved the small chapters, and the fast paced nature of this book. The only miss for me was the lack of name at the start of each chapter that indicated whose perspective it was. I spent atleast the first paragraph trying to guess who was speaking.
Another small, meager point of contention was the amount of subplots going on. In the end, it does all come together to fit in the overarching plot of the story and I feel it's much more interesting to read the different subplots as they pertain to different characters. If you're not into that, then this book is probably not for you.
Definitely recommend this one if you're looking for a mystery/ action book that is fast paced and a real page turner.
