A delicious blend of The Hunger Games and The Inheritance Games with a slight hint of Powerless/Red Queen... this book was so much more than I anticipated.
From the get go, the main character was very loveable and we were quickly introduced to her family situation - something I became invested in. The writing was very easy and comfortable to read and the dynamics of the characters was written incredibly well.
I espically loved the tense aspect of them trying to steal their targets whilst competing against each other - I really have nothing bad to say!
And the ending... oh my god. I thought we were done, and then another plot twist! Then another one! My mouth was quite literally on the floor and I had to pause, put the book down and process my stunned reaction in silence before I kept reading! I cannot WAIT to read the second one, I am so looking forward to it.
