Amazing story. This was an autobiography that was fascinating and took hold of my attention throughout the whole book. Hearing what Goggins went through in his life and the pain, struggle and suffering that he endured to create the person he is today is inspirational. It makes you reflect on your own life and I almost feel like a whimp from having such a better life than he did growing up. But we all go through trauma, suffering, unwanted experiences and chaos, it’s just apart of the reality we live in. This is a great book for those people in a dark place, that feel insecure, who feel unconfident and fearful. Like many great thinkers in history have said to grow you must go through the pain to get to the other side. The side where there is light, where you can accomplish and do anything you want in life. I highly recommend this book for those that want to change and be better. Especially the audiobook which has a podcast like setting.
