A couple of good points here and there but quite disarticulated and a bit of a mix of blog posts and her personal experience (or other privileged people's experience). It made me feel bad for being the kind of white privileged person who listens to white privileged people talking about how to maximise fucking white privileged upperclass life. Yes, most of those tips could be adapted to people without her privileges but at the end of the day not everybody can be confident that a temporary rough period of life will be temporary, not everybody can decide to minimise what makes time feel slow and boring, not everybody can afford babysitters and not everybody does deep work for a living. I prefer her TED talk. I am trying to track my time as she suggests but I wouldn't recommend reading the book. Perhaps I would just check her blog posts... But it makes you think about the amount of time we waste and treat as infinite and despise.
