The Maze Runner by James Dashner

4.0

This book surprised me. I hardly ever read summaries of books that are super popular, because sometimes the summary can spoil the book. That being said, this book was not at all what I expected, but that's a very good thing.

In this story, the main characters live inside a maze. Each character is a teenage boy, and they each have a job to do to keep their society running. Then Thomas shows up. The job that Thomas really wants is a maze running position. These people run the maze during the day, looking for a way out and memorizing how the maze lies. Why don't they go out at night? Because at night the doors close (their society is in the center) and creatures come out... creatures that kill.

Piqued your interest yet? Good... go read, it's a great book!
