The Five: The Untold Lives of the Women Killed by Jack the Ripper by Hallie Rubenhold

challenging dark informative slow-paced

3.0

Really good. I appreciate what the author was trying to do, honoring the victims who are too often disregarded as “just prostitutes” while Jack the Ripped is honored as a great story of history. I love this goal. However, only gets 3 stars from me as, after the first 3 stories, I felt it began to drag. It was repetitive and started to bore me at the end, making it hard to get through.
