not the target audience for this anymore. i had this book saved on my tbr from when it first was released, but didn't look at the blurb before picking it up this time. this book is more ideal for those curious about or interested in abolition without much context, rather than those who are already familiar with abolitionist ideas. again, my fault for not understanding the vibe before grabbing it.
