This sure was a book!
Jokes aside I think I’d have enjoyed this wayyyy more if it was like, half the length. A lot of the plot felt like forced filler to add a couple hundred extra pages, which is a shame bc the main character, Ashley, is super likeable and the story was really compelling. I just massively lost focus when, for 200 pages, everyone was like ‘it was eddie!’ And she was continuously like ‘no it wasn’t!’. Girl ur a police officer literally do ur job.
