What the hell…….my kids are all grown up and so big…….. 😭😭😭
I took forever to get around to reading this, so I genuinely felt the effects of the time skip. At first I was so confused because I didn’t reread any plot summaries or anything but wow, after a bit it all came rushing back to me and got me nice and emotional about all these wonderful characters!!!
Anyway I’m glad with the ending. It’s sweet, it’s compassionate, it’s gay—what more could you ask for in a graphic novel trilogy about dismantling the power structures that perpetuate violent misunderstandings between people by way of enforcing hierarchies that ultimately keep diverse communities from developing?
