I checked this out from the library because it was under the "Graphic Novel" category, and I'm trying to read more of those; however, this was a let down to me because the graphics lacked verve. It was also quite scattered. I suppose that's the mind of a child, and there were threads that re-emerged throughout. But I was hoping for something less bland. Or maybe just a little more poignant.
