I don’t know what I expected from this book but this wasn’t it. I’m not mad about it but I guess I wanted more.
I wanted more of Dinara and Adamo falling in love. It felt rushed and it came from out of nowhere. I really liked the whole killing spree plot line but this was about it. There was nothing else of excitement in this book. the romance was lacking, Dinara’s character was lacking and it felt so rushed.
I wanted Dinara to grow from this but instead, I just got a stubborn FMC who thought she knew everything about everything, a racer who fell in love way too quickly and a love story that was just so dry. I wanted more scenes of them maybe fighting, racing together and falling in love and I got none of that. I expected more from Adamo’s book and it’s safe to say I’m way too disappointed with what we were given.
