I love animals and I am always ready to learn more about species I know little-to-nothing about. I know of Opposums, but honestly don't know a lot about them.
Possums Are NOT Cute is a fantastic book filled with fun facts, cute pictures, and their place in history. I had no idea that Presidents of old had them as pets in the Whitehouse. Nor did I know that people eat them...😳
I have to say there is plenty in this book I didn't know and it was a joy to read. This would be a fantastic research project for Middle Graders to showcase the myths vs. truths of the Opposums.
I absolutely ADORED the pics showing these cute furries in all sorts of ways. They are certainly adorable and I have to admit I never thought that before reading this.
I highly recommend this for animal lovers and for those who think they know all there is to know about Opossums. This is one I'll be sharing with my grandbabies. I think they would get a kick out them.
