Dead of Night by Michael Grant

Not a particularly memorable read, but I did enjoy my time reading this book, the short read it was.

One thing this book really raised in me was the confusion of why it continues to happen. Wars. This short story tells the stories of war "veterans" from the past, present and future. Although the methods may have changed, in each sorry, they come to a bad end. And it hit me how while the protection has heightened, so has the methods of harm. It's disgusting on a hundred levels.
