The Anomaly
by Hervé Le Tellier
This seems like it was supposed to be poignant and literary  The science fiction aspect was not new, and the author only partially succeeded at creating characters that pulled out feels about the plight of humanity. I could see this being a pretty good indie film with a melancholy tone as long as the cinematography and and acting were solid, because the this would do better I'm film due to the ease of switching between characters and timelines.
