What the??!!! This was amazing, I wish I had read it sooner! This was 10/5 stars.

First there might be light spoilers in this review.

I’ll start by listing this off some trigger warnings. If you are triggered by the following, you may not want to read this: domestic abuse, tragic death of family, mental illnesses, infidelity, suicide.

Review house keeping aside. Holy. Shit. I thought several times I knew what to expect, and some of it I did know. HOWEVER, I didn’t anticipate the crazy last couple of chapters in this novel.

This starts out as just a typical story about a wealthy husband and wife in and unhappy marriage. Well the husband is un-happy.

They move to a new town to get a fresh start, and hubby ends up screwing his secretary. Wife finds out, befriends said secretary to scheme against her husband. Secretary keeps her job secret from her new friend and doesn’t tell boss she’s friends with the wife. DRAMA. DRAMA. MORE DRAMA.

This alternates between the women’s two view points and also jumps around to one of the women’s past with a non-linear timeline.

This story was so well written, if you think you know how this will end....you definitely don’t know.

If you enjoy a good psychological thriller and are not triggered by anything above, this is a must read!
