Little Dorrit
by Charles Dickens
It took about 60% of the book to finally get interesting. Dickens has SO MANY characters. It's hard to keep track of everyone and I even kept looking back to the list of characters the book provided. It takes forever to set the scene and get to know the characters and set up the mystery, but once Dickens did this, I had a hard time putting the book down. I become so invested with Dickens characters because you spend so much time with them. When it's over it feels like you have left a beloved family.
