It’s a huge relief to be finished this book because it’s the most disturbing piece of fiction I’ve read in a long time. Now that I know how it ends I feel much better, and my advice for those who are also struggling with its content is to try and finish it, because it definitely haunts me less now than it did when I was in the middle of it.
I love how it feels like something in between an old epistolary horror novel like Dracula, an ARG, and a found footage movie — The blank space in a lot of the pages kind of echoes the all the information that isn’t given, feels like it might be written there in invisible ink
