This one was definitely better on storytelling, even though the plot from the first one is just so perfect (and so are the characters).
Loved everything about this, the romance building, the suspense. I feel like the author balanced both genres much better, and Reed is a new fictional crush for me.
The trauma from Liza was handled so well, the character development and the closing for the first book — beautiful. The way the author dived into the villain was very interesting, it brought more depth and complexion to him. Some of the things that felt confused to me took half star on this, also the liking of the characters, but it was just details that I personally didn’t like, so please read this series!
Don’t know if there will be a next book, but it’d be amazing...
