Oona Out of Order by Margarita Montimore

4.0

What if you lived life out of chronological order? One year you’re 18 and the next you’re 51 and the following year you’re in your 30’s. But if anyone knew of your condition, they’d think you were mad. How do you function, have relationships, make money, have any sort of social life or maintain friendships from year to year? I LOVED how Montimore explored this idea and Oona is such a relatable and fascinating character as she mentally ages in order, but chronologically lives life out of order. Lots of feel good moments and life lessons combined with bittersweet plot twists. What a fun book!
