Binti by Nnedi Okorafor
2.0
This was a pretty short read. While I do like short books this was way short.
What upsets me is the most is that it had so much potential. The world building was absolutely amazing.
I personally did not connect to this book at all. I felt absolutely nothing. I honestly don't even know why anyone besides Binti were even given names they could've easily been refered to as "friends" or something.
I also feel like the part where she's starving could've been elaborated (besides many other parts) to make the reader feel something
Everything resolves so freaking easily.
I guess if everything were was a little more developed and if there were some actual failures by Binti, I would've enjoyed this a whole lot more.

Spoiler
I tried to remember those names when they first showed but then oh well they all just died. I felt like there was no charactet development, not even for Okwu.I also feel like the part where she's starving could've been elaborated (besides many other parts) to make the reader feel something
