Forward Series #5 : I usually like Andy Weir but this short story is just lacking something. The end is tense but that’s about the highlight of the book. The first half is just drill and like quantum mechanics, annoyingly confusing. As the ramblings about numbers comes to a close, the story turns to a future heist style scenario with computers and quantum physics at forefront. But, the story is too short to have any real impact and doesn’t really leave me wanting to find out more about the characters futures. A quick, slightly interesting read which lacks the usual Weir humour, wit, and MacGyver level problem solving skills.
