American Gods by Neil Gaiman

5.0

After reading The Ocean at the End of the Lane, I thought Neil Gaiman was okay, but I was not really interested in reading more of his work. But then my sister-in-law sent to me American Gods and I thought I would give it another try. Now I am hooked.

I loved the rich characterizations, as well as the interpretation of mythology into our modern day world. I was entertained throughout the entire book, and learned a few things along the way as well.
