Takaoka's Travels by Tatsuhiko Shibusawa

5.0

Absolutely surprised by this one! I was eager to get my hands on it from the synopsis but didn't expect to love it so much. This was a travel journal with philosophical elements, mythological elements, and a bunch of weird. It read like a string of interconnected short stories. Again this was like Alice's Adventures in Wonderland with some Gulliver's Travels and a reminiscent of the Odyssey. I understand why this is a cult classic and welp I've joined in.
