I loved this book so much. it's hilarious while also being deeply sad and incredibly evocative of childhood emotions, complex family ties and history, and the kinds of strange friendships we find ourselves in during middle school years. it's also amazingly honest and blunt in a way most books about young girls aren't. I can't recommend it highly enough.
