Thinner
by Stephen King, Richard Bachman
Probably the best of the Bachman books up to this point in his chronology. I liked this book, thought it was a good ride and appreciated the fact that King actually mentioned himself in the texts, willingly allowing the public to FINALLY realize it was him behind the pen here.
For kids of the 80s and 90s you have probably seen the adaptation and I would say, it is pretty good but the book is definitely better. Not much to report on here the summary is relatively simple: A man is cursed by a gypsy after killing his daughter by vehicular manslaughter and withers away...
There is for sure a whole lot more including one weird Tony Soprano esque character but overall if you like King's work this is on the lighter side with a deep(ish) plot. The ending made the book for me.
