I feel like there were more little unexpected twists and turns about what Celaena/Aelin did without telling Aedion or Rowan.. I just know their little hears were dropping to their stomachs every time Aelin revealed a plan she had set in motion lol. I also absolutely love how the relationship between Lysandra & Aelin came to be this way.
One of my favvvvvv parts of this book was the slow tension that built up between Lorcan & Elide!! like OMG. Lorcan is one of the two most powerful fae men in the world, old as dust, extremely grumpy and a lethal weapon!!!!! Elide is this girl that is so so fierce and has truly had to survive most of her life.. yet they come together and fall in love. Can we talk about Manon Blackbeak?! Lethal, no love, violent little thing.. but she slowly oh so so slowly comes to realize that she CAN be more. That she can be so so much more than her grandmother raised her to be.
I feel like my reviews don't fully cover all that I feel about these books, I should do updated throughout the book to really catch all of it.
