adventurous mysterious slow-paced

So many words and yet somehow nothing really happened >.<

I was disappointed by this one, not gonna lie. It had a beautiful setting and some interesting concepts but the execution really missed the mark. I still want to read the next one just to see if things pick up and the editing improves, but in the meantime here are my random thoughts I wrote down while reading because I can’t be bothered to form proper sentences about this one:

- Cool world and potential plot lines but it’s falling short almost every single time with the delivery

- Literally how the fuck does time work in this world, even the glossary can’t help my peanut brain sort this out

- I hate the amnesia/memory loss trope sm it pains me, idc how you try to spin it, it’s not for meeee

- Please not the random child being thrown into the mix, I can only take so much

- These bitches just gotta talk like adults to make this plot actually move forward, I BEG!!!!!
