Blue Lines by Toni Aleo

I liked this book. Is it a literary masterpiece? No. But I still enjoyed it.

I’m a bit of a sucker for the pregnancy trope, and I loved the premise. I thought the characters were great and well developed for the most part. Piper was an absolute sweetheart, but she still didn’t take shit from anyone. Erik was alright. I didn’t enjoy his internal monologues, and I felt they didn’t match up with his actions. The plot was good and the pacing was perfect. There wasn’t any moments where I got bored or felt like the story was dragging.

If you don’t like the pregnancy trope, obviously don’t read this book, but if you don’t have a problem with it, I say give it a go!
