Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger
2.0

I really wanted to love this book as much as I loved Time Traveler's Wife, and I was thinking before I read it that perhaps it had gotten bad reviews because people were wanting more of the same, and it was different, etc. No. That's not the reason. The reason for me is that none of the characters are likable and I didn't care what happened to them, with the exception of Martin, who turned out to be sort of a peripheral character anyway. Every choice these people made annoyed me and/or made no sense. I kept hoping to like this book, and I just... didn't.
