Pros: I really liked the characters, setting, and storyline behind this book.

Minor Cons: In the beginning, I felt like a lot of the scenes to get the couple together seemed contrived and unrealistic.
There started out being some conflict development with Jax's mother, but after her first scene she disappeared from the story completely as if she didn't live there.
Also, the way Jax spoke in the beginning was over the top. Unless he was British or from the 19th century, a 19 year old boy would not be saying stuff like "I'll supply her with a ride home", "If I'm not mistaken", and the majority of his vocabulary. Funny thing was, in his POV scenes he did talk normally.

Overall I guess I would say I liked it, but it had plenty of room for improvement.

Update: I re-read this one and while I maintain my earlier comments, I decided to up it from a "Just Okay" 2 star rating to at least a 3 star "I liked it" rating because I really did like the storyline, if I just upped my suspension of disbelief a bit more.
