the first chapters were hard to get into ngl but there's no doubt you will like the characters immediately. personally, i love mcs who frustrates me in a way that makes it hard for me to defend them. i just resonate better with those kind of mcs; maybe they feel more real idk.
sciona is such a great character and i love her character development. i also adore her relationship with thomil, i don't even know where to start explaining 😭 I LOVE THEM BOTH!!! I LOVE CARRA!! I LOVA ALBA (i just hope they gave sciona a chance to explain)
the ending physically hurts my heart, it was heartbreakingly beautiful. i love the parallels between the first and last chapter—thomil with his family and tribe, hoping to death they will get through the barrier to thomil and carra, with their ppl and newfound hope to live again in their home. still can't believe sciona is gone, i refuse to believe that's her fate 😭
