My Sunshine Away by M. O. Walsh
4.0

The author takes on the guilt of a rape of a friend (and most of the book is the unraveling of the secrets of this rape and secrets of their neighborhood) and then spends much of the next few years trying to make it right in a way that only makes sense to an adolescent boy who really isn't sure about anything. It was tough to read in spots and sometimes I didn't understand the diversionary stories that were being told. But there is so much about love contained within this book.
