I really liked this story, and how in depth it goes into the different horrible relationships with men that Helen has had with Nice Guys and emotionally abusive assholes like her husband and the effects these relationships have on women. Really in depth and sensitive considering the novel came out almost 200 years ago.
Also love Gilbert, he's just a sweet and sensitive little guy.
