Rhyme is a wonderfully irascible character... and this book shows this to a tee! We listened to this on our way home from Thanksgiving and enjoyed it thoroughly. I did, however, wonder if all the disparate threads of story line would ever link together. They did! Phew. In this story, LIncoln starts out running a serial killer case, while Amelia is lead investigator for the first time on her first murder investigation. Some professional tension is present at the beginning of the story, but they work through it and all the twists and turns brought to them by the evidence. A new character - Catherine Danz - brings interesting insight into interrogation techniques and provides a willing partner for both investigations, postponing her trip back home to California. I thoroughly recommend this one. Read masterfully by George Guidall.
