Shoe Dog has a bad habit of destroying anything and everything shoe-related. This gets him nothing but unkind words and banishment from his owner, but he finds it hard to resist his favorite treat. Eventually, he tries exhibiting some good behavior and finds a way to coexist with so many tempting treats.
Crayon and charcoal illustrations (finished digitally) are very inventive. I loved the way Shoe Dog's body is only loosely defined; it made Shoe Dog all the more lovable for me.
