This is my second read. In my original review I gave it 4.5 stars, but I think this time it is 5 stars. Robert Jordan really sets up the series in this first book. Now that I know how it unfolds I understood all the hints and the character introductions. Amazing!

I really enjoyed the characters and the development of plot. There were mysteries hinted at that I am looking forward to seeing revealed. I listened to the audiobook and I liked the narrators. It wasn't quite 5 stars but it was very close.
