This was just an okay read for me.  Told in dual timelines, which normally I am a fan of, in this case though, the plot unfolds at slow burn pace that made me lose interest in what was happening.  The characters were unlikable, not always a bad thing, but mixed with the slower plot I struggled connecting to the story. The storyline was intriguing and overall a well written novel. I have read other books by Stacy Willingham and while this wasn't my favorite, I will be looking forward to her next novel.
