honestly this was a 4.5 star read for me up until the end, i like the plot-twists i honestly didnt see them coming
i thought for the longest time Ethan was EJ because the writing made ethan sound sooo suspicious 
after we figured out tricia is patricia and patricia killed her friends and fiance and was blackmailed into helping dr hale with the EJ problem i thought maybeee EJ is still Ethan and patricia is just luring him into a trap (im bad with guessing can you tell) 
but no
i thought the part where we figured out ethan killed his mom was so out of the blue or more like unnecessary we went from 2 completely normal people to a bonnie and clyde murder duo in like what 3 chapters ? which was a bit quick imo which is why i changed it to a 4 star 
a really really good book nonetheless started it today at 4pm and finished at 2am cuz i couldn't put it down will definitely check out more books by this author hihi
