fun sequel to the first book, tho i think i enjoyed the first one more. needed something light and whimsical after binging the stormlight archives so this was perfect. this one was just written inconsistently, and the journal entries didn’t work as well as it did in the first. also the background characters weren’t as developed. would probably read the next one in the series when it comes out.
