Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham

3.0

This book made me realize Wicca wasn't for me and that's okay. I still think this book is a good introduction to witchcraft and does a good job of explaining the seasons and sabbaths there are a few problems I have with this book though.

1) it is very euro-centric
2) doesn't really explain the source for things (i.e. watchtowers)
3) said you shouldn't call upon your ancestors or believe you can call upon your ancestors if you believe in reincarnation.

I probably have others but it's been a while since I read this book. It is a good book for beginers as many have said but if you're looking for a more up-to-date, more inclusive book I would pick up something else. I don't regret reading this book but I also don't think it's a 'must-read' for anyone starting or on their path.
