Oh my goodness. I went into this book with no expectations. I figured it would be pretty good or it wouldn't have such a high rating, but nothing specific. It was very entertaining and I read it pretty quickly, but the first thing I loved was on page 225, when she mentioned Sailor Moon, a favorite of mine when I was in elementary school. Not once did this book lose my attention. Then on 363, I LOVED!!!! Kate's comment, and her's and Ellie's banter. It made me feel like I was in the book and it was my friends and I talking. I loved the constant elements of danger and success. I liked that it was a totally original concept, and that the Preliator has a fondness for horses, as does the author. I thoroughly expect that to be explored in the next book! And Will. Oh my goodness, Will is yummy!

Great read by Courtney Allison Moulton. Looking forward to more from her! The next book cannot come quickly enough!
