I love everything that TJ Klune writes. At times bizarre, but always an underlining feel-good message. Giovanni is an inventor robot who has gone rogue from the mainstream robots and lives in a treehouse with his nurse robot, a vacuum robot, and a human named Vic. Life is serene in the woods until one day, the three adventures find a droid in the salvage yard and brings it home to repair. Little did he know that the droid is a former human killer. Adventure awaits as life takes a turn for the worse when Gio is taken back to his former life, and Vic is determined to rescue him and bring him back home. The underlying friendships and budding relationships in this novel make my heart full. I can't wait to get this one in at the library so I can recommend it to everyone. Thank you for the chance to read it!
