I have such mixed feelings about this, like I usually do with Hilderbrand's novels.  This is a rich historical fiction; the sixties atmosphere is great and I would call it somewhat informative.  That aspect was well done.  However, I just couldn't care about or love the characters quite enough.  They all had plenty of drama and had interesting stories.  What is lacked was a bit of intrigue or conflict, which I find is typical of Hilderbrand's stories.  Typical Hilderbrand summer story, so if you love them, this one is well done.
