Grace is a superstar pro soccer player and Phoebe is a rookie drafted to play on Grace’s team. I absolutely adored all of the characters in the book, but Grace and Phoebe were top tier. Phoebe is energetic, friendly and flirty, while Grace prefers to be left alone. Their opposites attract vibes led to some really cute moments as they navigate the type of relationship each of them want.

There was quite a lot of miscommunication, but it really fit with the personalities of the characters. There was also a bit of mental health representation at the end, but I wish it had been woven more throughout the story. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone looking for a spicy sports romance.
