Romance is my least favorite genre. I get bored with the predictable plot or cheesy dialogue.
Some friends on Bookstagram were doing a buddy read on this book, and I decided to join.
The darker elements of the book, are what drew me in.
At first, the dialogue was a bit cringy. But after the first chapter the book began to grow on me.
To my utter surprise I started to actually care about the couple and their budding romance. I enjoyed the spice
