Four stars, but does every Superman story have to be about Superman facing a Superman-level threat? Even with my disappointment in the Zod story, I like this Superman. I liked the scene where he talked to his mom on the phone. I like most the aspects that take the essence of the Superman story but deviate from established details. I wish it did that even more. Will there be any more? I want to see this Superman deal with small stuff.
